Our mother country is in need of a man that: 1. Knows what a Mexican should be 2. Envisions how to save our mother country Only industries can make us happy. Land without capital, is like a soldier without weapons. Work without capital, is like a fish out of the water. Hell. Liberty is the daughter of Sacrifice. 6. Has Acknowledgement of one s own consciousness Agriculture same land a limited amount each year, which is better than the gold mines. Each useful tree grows rightfully from a gold weight every year. produces from the The fulfillment of Duties turns the world into 3. FELLOW CITIZENS: There is a wide way towards ruin, and another narrow one towards life. Which one do we prefer? Our land, under-developed or badly handled, is like a desert. But, with 50 years of hard work, this desert could turn into a gold mine; as we ve seen in numerous examples from progressive nations. We respectfully advise capitalists and workers to gather and mass-produce in order to reduce cost. If costs get too high we will be forced to import our goods from foreign countries, and if the honorable merchants decide not to bring us their merchandise we could starve to death. And please be aware that our fields cannot be productive as long as there is no Peace . Grow: cedar wood, mahogany, cascalote tree (caesalpinia cacalaco), cocoa, coconut, coffee beans, breadfruit (artocarpus artily), banana, higuerilla wood (micandra spruceana), vanilla, sarsaparrilla (smilax aspera), cotton, alfalfa, corn, rice, wheat, potatoes, onions and bitter yucca. Raise: hens, cattle and pigs using modern methods. Honorable co-citizen congressmen: This country asks you to cut any law that could set obstacles to the industries and establish laws that support industries. It is your duty and is vital and fundamental. Let s be patriotic and not selfish.

It draws attention the fact that these ideas reflect the vision that the best way to improve Japan s image, is not by showing off about Japan, but by working for the progress of Mexico, the country that took him in.
Benito Eitaro Meguro, from Niigata, Japan, after graduating in Hitotsubashi University, travelled around the world and while being in the USA found out about the Enomoto Migration, which motivated him into traveling and living in Chiapas.
