Update on Shelter Working Group Meeting and Relief Efforts
The Shelter Working Group Meeting held on Monday, 21st June at 10 AM discussed various agenda items, provided updates on flood-affected areas in Galle, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts, and highlighted the ongoing relief efforts and future plans for assisting the affected communities. The meeting also addressed the need for donations and the status of resettlement efforts for the affected populations. Key organizations such as IOM, SLRCS, ADRA, UN Habitat, and others have been actively involved in providing aid and support. Additionally, a comparison of the number of affected people on different dates was presented, along with updates on the distribution of NFIs and plans for permanent housing solutions.

Galle Kalutara Ratnapura - 01 camp - 11 camps - 44 camps Flood affected people are almost resettled in their own place. Directly and indirectly affected people by the landslide are still in the above 56 camps.
