Graduation rates measure the percentage of students who complete high school within 4 or 5 years. This information is crucial for identifying schools needing support and improvement. The adjusted cohort graduation rates take into account various factors like transfers, emigration, and deaths. Compliance with graduation code entry dates is essential for accurate reporting. Schools with a graduation rate below 80% may face accountability measures.
