What is governance? In this context we will be looking at Corporate Governance and according to PWC Laos Good corporate governance is a foundational attribute of a healthy organization. It sets the tone as to how the organization operates and behaves both internally and to the market generally (externally). It defines the relationship between the Board of Directors, Management and the rest of the organization. Dummy Text It is a performance issue.
What is Compliance? According to the International Compliance Association (ICA), The term compliance describes the ability to act according to an order, set of rules or request . Compliance operates at two levels: Level 1- Compliance with the external rules that are imposed upon an organization as a whole Dummy Text Level 2- Compliance with internal systems of control that are imposed to achieve compliance with the externally imposed rules
