COMPARATIVES VS SUPERLATIVES
Whats a comparative and superlative adjective?? When we describe one object/person or a group as a whole we use the plain form of adjective When you compare 2 things we use comparative form When we compare more than two we use a superlative form
Short adjectives /one syllable plain comparative superlative The car is the fastest in the street The car is faster than the bike The car is fast The teachers are taller than the students The teachers are the tallest in the school the teachers are tall
Long adjectives /more than one syllable plain comparative superlative The car is the most expensive in the street The car is more expensive than the bike The car is expensive bikes are less expensive then cars Bikes are the least expensive in transportations Bikes are expensive

remember Hot ..hotter ..hottest Easy .easier ..easiest Nice .nicer .nicest A syllable is each part of the word with a pronounceable vowel/not at the end/can be more than one Short nice easy hot ===} 1 Modern complex ====} 2 Expensive beautiful dangerous ===}3
