We will produce complete
sentences using
comparative
 and
superlative
 adjectives.
 
Why?:
We use comparative adjectives to
compare 
TWO
 nouns.
 
Adjectives
(of what kind)
 
Adjective(er)      or      more + adjective
(two syllables or less)         (more than two syllables)
 
Irregular:  good             better,      bad             worse
      some/many             more,      little             less
 
Formula 1
:
Noun1
 + “to be” verb + adjective(er)+ than +
noun2
 + finisher.
 
Example:
 
Oranges
 are sweeter than 
lemons
.
 
Formula 2
:
Noun1
 + “to be” verb + more+adjective  + than +
noun2
 +
finisher.
 
Example:
A 
granola bar 
is a more nutritious snack than a 
candy bar
.

THAN TWO
