Ridesharing is playing a significant role in connecting the first and last mile gaps in mass transit systems, providing a complementary service rather than a substitute. Uber has established partnerships with various transit agencies nationwide, including MARTA, to improve access and reduce costs for commuters. The collaboration involves promotional initiatives, targeted marketing, and digital advertising to promote seamless integration between rideshare and public transportation.
