Truss Inter-Force Calculation Illustrated Step-by-Step
In this detailed guide, we walk through the process of calculating inter-forces in a truss structure. Starting from setting up the assembly in Mechanism, to adding driving forces, analyzing forces through Force Balance, and finally determining the final result, each step is visually explained for easy understanding and implementation.

Target Represent the left question from Mechanical of Material colleague book
Create assy in Mechanism Except one using slider all other using pin to assembly DD install pin and slider
Assy finish Drag checking, can not move.
Open in Mechanism Add driving force, to simply and match book solution, setting magnitude to 1, direction is -Y
Add measure (KEYPOINT) Type: connection reaction Pick up chosen bar (CD in example) It is key point for the representation
Setting Analysis Type : force balance
Final result Force in bar CD is 1.333 driving force(match book solution -1.33mg)
