Torch is a program that frames and guides BPA members in leadership and service within their chapter and community. It focuses on values like Leadership, Service, Cooperation, Knowledge, Friendship, Love, Hope, Faith, and Patriotism. The program has different levels with varying points required for recognition. Each activity earns points, and students submit their resumes online for review. While Torch offers many benefits, there have been setbacks due to lack of participation and awareness among chapters and advisors. Successful Torch chapters emphasize group activities and community engagement to earn recognition and motivate members.
