Slide Note

Hi, I’m Paul, and these are the words of Cielo, a participant in a study I recently completed, on “Skychology”, exploring two central questions:

1. What do people experience when they look up at the sky?

2. What role, if any, does the sky play in the experience of wellbeing?

By the end of this talk, you will know:

What skychology is

Why it matters

How we can experience something extraordinary in something as ordinary as the simple act of looking up at the sky

Skychology explores the impact of sky-based interventions on human wellbeing in the context of global urbanization and disconnection from nature. Through scientific endeavors and the understanding of sky interactions, it offers emotional self-regulation, connectedness, awe-inspiring experiences, and psychological benefits. Discover the transformative power of looking up to the sky for a better sense of self and connection to the world around us.
