What are the parts of the light microscope?

1- Ocular lens:
To expose the image of the
specimen to the eye.
2- Body tube
:-
To hold the eyepieces.
3- Prism
:-
To reflect the image from the
objective lens to the ocular lens.
4- Arm
:-
Supports the tube and connects it
to the base

:-
Usually you will find 3 or 4

consist of 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X powers.

Your microscope has 3 magnifications: Scanning, Low and High. Each objective
will have written the magnification. In addition to this, the ocular lens (eyepiece)
has a magnification. The total magnification is the ocular x objective
