Over 6,000 students are engaged in the Summer Backpack League program across 100 sites, including schools, community centers, and YMCA sites. With nearly 20 enrichment providers offering 1,000 hours of activities weekly, supported by over 60 leadership counselors and JCPS personnel, the program also includes daily meals, PPE boxes, and Walmart supply boxes to enhance students' learning experiences.

SUMMER BACKPACK LEAGUE Over 6,000 students registered 100 Backpack League Sites o 48 Community Sites, 25 JCPS Schools, 19 YMCA CEP Sites, 8 LMG Community Centers Nearly 20 Enrichment providers providing nearly 1,000 hours per week of enrichment Over 60 Leadership Counselors [college students] providing staffing support Over 60 Leadership Counselors in Training [high school students] facilitating The Leader In Me SEL Curriculum in partnership with Kentuckiana Works Over 400 JCPS Personnel o Teachers, Administrators, Nurses, Counselors, Mental Health Practitioners Additional Supports o Daily Meals at over 40 locations o JCPS PPE Boxes o Walmart Supply Boxes (School supplies, headphones, etc.)
