  2. Why Why DataDash DataDash? ? Fast, efficient, comprehensive access (ie., less go here, go there ) Common Monitoring (e.g., deep-dive for Vital Signs, FSR). Quick data access as evidences for your reports (e.g., MTSS, EMPT, CSIP). Shared Focus Areas (e.g., Racial Equity). Learn how students are doing Triangulate for a more comprehensive picture (e.g., assessments, behavior, AND demographics together; MAP trends). I notice and I wonder patterns. Trends by kid and by class (ES/MS by teacher; HS by course). Accountability, Research, & Systems Improvement

Go to jcps.me/research in a browser window 2. Click JCPS DataDash on right center 2. Login with your JCPS Microsoft credentials Accountability, Research, & Systems Improvement

Requesting DataDash Reports Requesting DataDash Reports Click the camera icon for a brief tutorial video DataDash defaults to: Your school* Vital Signs (Student Level) report All demographic categories All performance categories You may specify: One or more demographic categories One or more performance categories A note to be added to the report filename (should be descriptive but brief) Submit your request: When your report is ready, you will receive an email (see next slide) *Principals of more than one school will see an additional drop-down box for selecting a school Accountability, Research, & Systems Improvement

Accessing New DataDash Reports Accessing New DataDash Reports You may log into DataDash to request reports from your preferred device using any internet connection When your Student Level Vital Signs report is ready, you will receive an email with a link to access the report Report access links will only work on the JCPS network or by remotely logging into your school computer through VPN Email links will only work in the Outlook app. If you are using Outlook webmail in an internet browser, you must first copy the here or folder link address and then paste it into a file explorer window Paste Copy Accountability, Research, & Systems Improvement

Quick Access for All DataDash Reports Quick Access for All DataDash Reports These optional steps will add your school s DataDash folder to the Quick Access toolbar so you can easily access all your DataDash reports by opening a File Explorer window 1. Click the folder link in email to access your school s folder 2. From the Home tab, click the icon in the upper left 3. Your folder will now be displayed in the Quick Access toolbar whenever you open a File Explorer Window Accountability, Research, & Systems Improvement
