3. Main challenges and/or obstructions Administrative arrangement between FTM and SHOM is still in suspense Integration in IHO is still on the point of object in Parliament. NHC activities are in gestation. The malagasy actors (FTM, APMF) are preparing to rig up a common project in bathymetry in small area. 9. Plans that affect the region The Ministry of national defence is leading us in preparation of an International conference in Safety and Security in maritime domain and bleu economy. Areas targeted are the nations in East Africa and in Indian Ocean, planed in December 2019 first 2020. However; it could not have place.
