On September 15, Peru assumed the presidency of the Regional
Hydrographic Commission of South East Pacific.
 
The next video conference will be in 15th November 2020.

The SEPRHC VTC tend to work with a permanent agenda with
amendments for the new issues as they arise. The main topics in the
agenda are:
 
Commission Representation at the IHO Council.
 
Presentation of national and IHO Secretariat reports.
 
Submission of reports drafted by Working Groups and
 
Committees (CBSC)
 
GEBCO / Seabed 2030 Progress.
 
Update of IHO C-55 and P-5 Publications.
 
The update of the regional electronic charting schemes.

The Commission continues working in their tasks and compromise

The SEPRHC recognize the continuous support of CBSC in Capacity 
 
Building.
 
The close relationship between MS allows permanent communication
 
and the share of information.
 
This cooperation has been critical in order to promote an 
 
understanding
 
of national directions and hydrographic priorities and 
 
interests, that
 
results in opportunities for collaboration and mutual 
 
assistance
 
After XIV SEPRHC, MS are compromised to support Panama

The South East Pacific Regional Hydrographic Commission (SEPRHC) chaired by Rear Admiral Jorge Paz Acosta held various meetings and discussed work programs related to hydrographic activities in the region. The commission focused on important action items to enhance coordination and progress in hydrographic surveying and nautical charting. Key topics included representation at the IHO Council, updating publications, and addressing consistency in national entries. The SEPRHC is actively working towards its goals with the support of member states and observer states.
