Core Practicals Your exam will include questions that require knowledge of several practical methods and the apparatus that you would use and why. The shared area includes a folder which contains a power point on each of the required practicals. Each power point contains; -Links to video clips of the practical being carried out -Questions for you to complete based on the practical method seen. -The answers to the questions. -More key questions for you to think about. How to find these power points: Shared Documents -> Curriculum Subjects -> Science -> Student Access -> GCSE > Year 11 revision > PiXL Required Practicals

Physics Equations You need to be able to recall and APPLY a vast number of equations as well as remember the standard SI units. Several weeks ago you were all issued with an equation sheet which included all of these. If anyone has lost this and would like another please ask your science teacher for another copy.
The MORE work you put in the BIGGER the pay off.. PASSIVE REVISION Grades 1-2 Reading through text books, websites, power-points, and revision guides. Grades 3-4 Making flashcards and mind-maps. ACTIVE REVISION Grade 5-6 Answering questions in textbooks and revision guides. Grade 7-9 Completing numerous past paper exam questions and looking closely at mark schemes to fully understand where you went wrong.
Active Revision Diagnose Work through an exam question paper or Think It Question Mat. - >What can you do and what CAN T you do? Therapy Use the internet, your revision guides, power points, or Revision Mats to try to find the answers to the questions that you find you cannot do. Test -Complete more exam questions on the topic to make sure that you now understand this area fully.
