  1. ENH 110 FINAL EXAM INFORMATION Spring 2015

  2. FINAL EXAM 1. Essay Final Exam: May 18th 21st. Must be completed by 2:30 on Thursday, May 21st! 2. Objective Final Exam (all short essay questions): May 27thOR May 28th

  3. ESSAY FINAL ALL IN CLASS 1. Flash Fiction You will read five assigned pieces and complete an organizer for each. 2. Choose three Flash Fiction pieces for your actual essay exam. 3. Complete prewriting 4. For each Flash Fiction piece you will pair it with a type of literary criticism and analyze it with an essential question, include a quote, and sprinkle vocabulary throughout the three paragraphs. You WILL be able to use notes as you complete this in class essay final! Hint: Although you will have all class period to work on the final it CANNOT leave the classroom. So see me if you would like to come in during AcaPrep or before or after school. I will let you know my availability!

  4. POINTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ESSAY FINAL: Flash Fiction Organizers (5 total) 45 points Prewriting 25 points Essay Final 100 points (only the final 100 points from here will be part of our final exam category in the gradebook. The other points are regular classroom assignments.)

  5. OBJECTIVE FINAL (NO NOTES!) 1. Wednesday, May 20th Three final exam readings will be posted on our web page after 2:10. There will be a PDF with all three stories provided as well as a link for each story also provided. You may prepare as little or as much with these three pieces. They will be a very important part of your final exam! I would be sure you know these backwards & forwards! You may print these out, but you will NOT be able to use your copy of the reading on the actual test. 2. Friday, May 22nd In class post card review of literature! You will want to review the Final Exam Content Review handout online! 3. The actual objective final will be all short essay and will have the following parts: Fiction Elements Identification and Analysis, Literary Criticism Overview and Exploration, and Making Literary Connections. 4. Tuesday, May 26th Independent Review Time

  6. POINTS ASSOCIATED WITH OBJECTIVE FINAL: 100 points (in the final exam category of our gradebook)
