8. GRADES Parents should be checking Portal ONCE A WEEK and discussing grades with students Breakdown of Grades ( Tests, Classwork, Homework, Etc.): specifics to be discussed during Open House. Example From 2017-2018 School Year For Math: FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS: 15% HOMEWORK: 10% PROBLEM SOLVING: 15% ST MATH: 10% SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS: 50%
