Psychology Assessments
A psychology assessment involves psychologists learning about individuals to determine the best way to provide support. Through interviews, observations, and tasks, psychologists assess understanding, provide self-insight, and recommend psychological support. Following an assessment, psychologists explain findings and possible support options. Individuals have the choice to participate and can consent to the process. Signing off authorizes the assessment.
