Progress Update on AASHTO Roadside Design Guide Revision Project
The project to review and update the AASHTO Roadside Design Guide NCHRP 20-07 (383) is well underway as indicated by the interim project report dated June 15, 2017. Various tasks such as project management, assembling the 5th edition, conducting literature reviews, and identifying guidance voids have been completed or are in progress. The project team, comprising experts from different transportation departments and organizations, has been diligently working on refining and enhancing the existing guidelines. The report outlines the accomplishments, ongoing discussions, and next steps towards finalizing the updated guide.
