3. COMMUNICATION Email Phone Conferences Visit to class Instructional time cannot be interrupted Visitors must sign in when on campus Daily Folder Send notes

4. TRANSPORTATION Drop off Procedure (begins at 8:00am) Pick up Procedure (dismissal at 3:00pm) Carpool, Bus, Walkers Changes in Transportation *Must be in writing, last minute changes can call office Late Students must Sign In *Parent must come in with student After School Care

DAILY SCHEDULE 8:00-8:30 Arrival 8:30-10:15 Morning Meeting & Literacy 10:15-10:45- Recess 10:45-11:35 Literacy 11:35-12:15- Math 12:15-12:40 Academic Block 12:40-1:10-Lunch 1:15-2:00 Specials 2:00-2:50-Science/SS 2:55- Transition to dismissal 3:00 Dismissal Specials: Art, Dance, Drama, Music, PE, Science

6. ATTENDANCE Attendance is vital to success DO keep your child home if he/she is sick Notes to excuse absence *Send within 48 hours, Email is acceptable Limit Tardiness *Instruction begins right at 8:30am Good nights sleep is important!!

7. FOOD Snack Every Day School does not provide snack Breakfast Lunch Lunch Account Can be done online or sent in daily folder, labeled Parent Visitors Must sign in first!! Please wait a few weeks before visiting at lunch Allergies

8. SUPPLIES Bookbag Must be standard size, no wheels Extra Clothes Labeled in gallon size baggie Name on EVERYTHING!! Supply List On the school website Dress Code No flip flops, tennis shoes on PE days, girls wear shorts under skirts

9. ACADEMICS Goals for each quarter will be sent home Arts Integrated Lessons Reading/Writing Expectations Homework *Will begin in October *Read every night State Assessments at BOY, MOY, EOY

11. GET INVOLVED Volunteer *Must register at school on the computer to go on field trips or work with children PTA
