The webinar provided updates on open enrollment for school employees' benefits, including information on medical plan availability, live/work updates, and how employees can choose their plans based on where they live or work. Attendees were reminded to use the questions feature during the presentation and were given resources for further assistance. The webinar also addressed ways to address questions both during and after the presentation.

Medical Plan Availability Employees will be able to choose their medical plans based on either: County where they live or County where they work All school employees are offered a selection of plans based on their county of residence or the county where their SEBB Organization is based. Exception: UMP Plus members must live in a county serviced by the plan 6
Live/Work Updates Change allows for employees working at the same schools to have access to same medical plans, regardless of where they live. Example: Employee lives in Okanagan County, works for Lake Chelan SD, employee can select a plan available in Chelan county. For subscribers who reside in certain Oregon counties, will also have access to Kaiser NW plans Subscribers living in: Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington, and Yamhill counties hca.wa.gov/assets/pebb/20-0043-sebb-medical-plans-available-by-county-2021.pdf 7
BA Action for Oregon Residents For SEBB Organizations who have school employees that live in Oregon: Run Oregon Residential Addresses report in SMA Update each subscriber s address to include their county of residence (residential address) Found on profile tab when managing subscriber This will allow subscriber to see available Kaiser plans for Open Enrollment 8
Spousal/SRDP Premium Surcharge Some subscribers may have to re-attest to the Spousal or State- Registered Domestic Partner Premium Surcharge Subscribers who were already paying the surcharge in 2020 will have to re-attest Additionally, some subscribers who are not currently paying the surcharge may also have to attest based on the attestation they provided last year Subscribers will receive a letter in the mail mails 10/26 A banner will display upon login in SEBB My Account If no action is taken, OR if attestation results in incurring the surcharge, the $50/month premium surcharge will apply for plan year 2021 10
Letters to Subscribers Subscriber will get through 12/31 to complete attestation Can only do in SMA through 11/23 Follow up letters: 12/4 remind to complete 1/8/21 will pay surcharge 11
Spousal Surcharge Updates After OE Benefit Admins will need to complete on behalf of subscribers after Open Enrollment ends Subscriber can complete Premium Surcharge Change Form BA can complete attestation via employee s Premium Surcharge tab in SMA Report not yet available in SMA GovDelivery message will go out once available 12

BA Actions during OE Subscribers who have added dependents to coverage Dependents will need to be verified Subscribers making changes to coverages No verification needed by BAs Changes for OE will show on 12/16 billing file Coverages take effect Jan 1 Reminder: Employees can still have SOE events during this time! 18

Access Management in SMA Subscriber is having trouble logging into SMA, and contacts BA for assistance BA will need to disassociate the subscriber s account BA must have Access Management role assigned BA s with Admin access can assign access management role to others 21
Disassociate Subscriber Account 1. Select Manage Subscriber from your dashboard 2. Search for affected employee 3. Check the box next to employee name 4. Select disassociate this subscriber account 22

Additional SMA Updates When a subscriber has been re-hired (or returns from a leave and is eligible for benefits again) 1. Add them as a new subscriber 2. Claim their account 24
