Skill Games License Categories
Applicants involved with multiple types of games need only apply for a single
license (e.g. operator of Type-B & -C games would apply for a Type-C license)

Manufacture SBAMs to sell to operators for use in Ohio
Distribute SBAMs manufactured by other vendors
Can do either or both, one license for all activities
3 year license
$500 application fee
Vendors can manufacture and/or distribute both Type-B and Type-C SBAMS
 
Vendors

Own one or more Type-B games in Ohio
May operate at their own location or any other business’s location
May only operate Type-B games (no Type-C games)
3 year license
$250 application fee
 
Type-B Operators

Own one or more Type-C games in Ohio
May operate Type-C games at their own or any other business’s location
Locations not owned by the Operator must also obtain a license
May also operate Type-B games with no additional license required
Locations with only Type-B games do not require a location license
3 year license
$500 application fee
If a Type-C Operator also does business as a Vendor, they must also apply as
a Vendor
