Thinking installation to quantify network G. Lehmann Miotto
Outline Fiber plant in each cavern DAQ barrack layout Resulting network layout So far prepared only FD-1 . Took quite a bit of time
Cryostat top 75 identical miniracks serving 2 APA each Each minirack connects 7x12 fiber bundles to the DAQ room (+timing fiber)
Patch panels in DAQ barrack Each patch panel connects 8 flanges (16 APAs)
Next steps Do the same exercise for FD2 Prepare the layout for Ross dry Prepare material for an iterative meeting with the network team at FNAL My worries: Racks are filling up much more than what I hoped for Need to re-make all power consumption estimates
