  2. Early life He was born on January 17 1942. Cassius grew up in a time when blacks and whites hade to stay apart. In 1964 clay joinend the nation of islam and changed his name to Muhammad ali.

  3. What is he famous for? He was the world champion of boxing. in the olympic games he lit the olympic flame in 1996

  4. Character traits with support Strong - he s a heavy weight champion. Determined-he always kept trying.

  5. Major accomplishments Ali was the first fighter to win the world heavy weight championship. Ali was awarded the presidential medal of freedom on November 9 2005.

  6. Interesting Facts He was known for such as I am the greatest and float like a butterfly, sting like a bee . At the age of 18 clay won a gold medal at the olympic games in Rome.
