  2. The Revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

  3. Lesson objective: 1.Mention the story of the beginning of revelation of the Quran. 2. Recognize the early Muslims. 3. Find some attributes of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

  4. Our master Muhammad , peace be upon him, used to go to the cave of Hira, in one of Makka's mountains, to worship and think of the creatures of Allah and of the Creator of this great universe. When the Prophet, peace be upon him, was forty years old, and while he was in the cave Hira, on one day of the month of Ramadan, he received the revelation through Gabriel, peace be upon him, who came down to him and said: "Read." Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, replied: "I cannot read." Gabriel embraced him strongly and then left him. For the second time Gabriel said: "Read." The Prophet, Peace be upon him, said: "I cannot read." Gabriel, Peace be upon him, embraced him for the third time and then released him saying: ( Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists) (1) Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) (2) Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, (3) Who has taught (the writing) by the pen (4) Has taught man that which he knew not (5) Do you know these words are the first 5 verses of Surah Al Alaq.and it is the 1st revelation of the Quran

  5. Then he left the cave very terrified. When he reached his home, tired and frightened, He asked his wife Khadijah,( may Allah be pleased with her); Cover me, cover me, and she hurried to cover him. After his fear had somewhat become less, he told her what had happened to him. She reassured him saying, Cheer up, my dear cousin, for I hope you are the prophet of Allah for this nation. Q.1) Why did the Prophet, peace be upon him, go to the cave of Hira? Ans. Q.2) How old was the Prophet, peace be upon him, when the revelation descended upon him? Ans. Q.3) In which month did the revelation of the Quran begin? Ans.

  6. ( Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists) (1) Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) (2) Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, (3) Who has taught (the writing) by the pen (4) Has taught man that which he knew not (5)

  7. Gabriel ( Jibril), peace be upon him, returned to the Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him, to order him that he should inform all people of the new Message and to teach them to worship Allah, starting with his closest relatives. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him called his family members, tribe people, his friends as well as all the people of Makkah. The people who accepted the call of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him were the first one Khadija ( may Allah be pleased with her), Abu Bakr Al Siddiiq and Ali bin Abu Talib, Zaid bin harith ( may Allah be pleased with them). A number of Quraishi refused and stood against the Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him, but he was patience, farm on his belief and he was determined on his mission.

I comfort the prophet, when he came to me terrified. --- 4. I am the best friend of Prophet, peace be upon him and accepted his call at very beginning. ____ 5. I used to take care and help the prophet and I believed what he said without any hesitations. ______

  9. My learning 1. 2. 3. Think and answer All the near people of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, listened for what he was calling and entered Islam without any hesitation, why ?
