  1. LEAP 2025 IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO HELP YOUR CHILD TAKE THE STATE ASSESSMENT

  2. LEAP 2025 TESTS Each year, students in grade 3 through high school take state tests to measure their knowledge and skills in each subject area and their readiness for the next level of study. The Leap 2025 tests are just one of several indicators, in combination with report cards, teacher-made tests, and classroom work, that are used to create a complete picture of a student s performance in school. The results from the tests will be used to help teachers identify when students need additional support or more challenging work in each subject area. This information is also used to measure how well schools and school systems are helping students achieve higher expectations.

  3. Attendance Attendance is very important during state testing All absences will require a medical excuse from the doctor (extenuating circumstances such as a funeral will be accepted as well) Makeup sessions pull students out of the classroom therefore causing them to miss the curriculum being taught during that time. We will have a celebration to reward all students that were in attendance for all test sessions and required no makeup sessions.
