  5. M I N N E S O T A Q2: What is the primary program through which councils, assemblies and circles provide financial and moral support to men and women preparing for the priesthood or religious life, and every council, assembly and circle is encouraged to participate. SERVICE TO ALL

  6. RSVP RSVP M I N N E S O T A A: Through the Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP) the Knights of Columbus has cultivated this spiritual soil for more than 30 years. RSVP allows councils, assemblies and Squires circles adopt one or more seminarians or postulants and provide them with financial assistance and moral support. Qualifying councils and assemblies receive a $100 refund for every $500 donated. The maximum refund a council or assembly can receive is $400 per individual supported. SERVICE TO ALL

  8. Into the Breach A. Councils will institute men s study groups to read the Apostolic Exhortation Into the Breach and use copies of the Into the Breach Booklet and Study Guide as a resource. In his Apostolic Exhortation Into the Breach, Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted outlines the challenges faced by men of faith in the world today. Into the Breach is a call to battle for Catholic men which urges them to wholeheartedly embrace masculine virtues in a world at crisis. M I N N E S O T A SERVICE TO ALL

  9. M I N N E S O T A Q4: As a part of the Building the Domestic Church initiative, we are happy to announce that the 5th Sunday Rosary Program will now be known as what Program?the Family Rosary program. SERVICE TO ALL

  10. A: The Family Rosary program. The Family Rosary Program, encourages councils to schedule rosary prayer services on any day of the week, at any time of the year, with the pastor s permission. When planning a Rosary prayer service councils should personally invite each family of the parish, and offer each attending family a copy of Catholic Information Service s A Scriptural Rosary for the Family (#319). Encourage families to read it and learn how their faith can be strengthened through a devotion to Our Lady, while praying at home regularly as a family. M I N N E S O T A SERVICE TO ALL

  11. M I N N E S O T A Q5: What program is designed to create annual opportunities for prayer and reflection together as a fraternity. SERVICE TO ALL

  12. A: Spiritual Reflection Program Many Catholic young people can attest that religious retreats are radically rejuvenating spiritual events that often leave a lasting impact on participants relationship to their faith. Under the guidance of their chaplain, councils can attend a retreat or day of reflection together or perhaps organize their own event for the men of their parish. Council participation in Spiritual Reflection is required to qualify for Columbian Award. M I N N E S O T A SERVICE TO ALL

  13. M I N N E S O T A Q6: What program Promotes and supports the development of strong and vibrant families. SERVICE TO ALL

  14. A: Family of the Month/Year Each month, the council Family of the Month committee selects one parish family that models Christian family values and visibly lives them every day. Once a year, each participating council also selects one of the previous twelve Family of the Month winners to represent the council/parish as the potential international Family of the Year. The Knights of Columbus Family of the Year is chosen by the Supreme Council and recognized each year at the annual Supreme Convention. M I N N E S O T A SERVICE TO ALL

  15. Q7: What initiative is a call to action for Knights across the United States and Canada to increase financial support to pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes and other organizations which give direct assistance to new mothers and/or babies. M I N N E S O T A SERVICE TO ALL

A: ASAP Aid & Support After Pregnancy The new Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) initiative is a call to action for Knights across the United States and Canada to increase financial support to pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes and other organizations which give direct assistance to new mothers and/or babies.
