1.
Here’s who I am and what I do…
Hello everyone, I am Kimber Boothe.
I serve as a coach, consultant, and
trainer and I am the creator of
Connector Academy. I help people
grow as connectors so they can excel
in all areas of life - self,
family/friends, career, and
community.
I am going to talk to you today about
the balanced Connector LIFE

2. Have you ever had any of these
challenges…
Have you ever experienced a lack
of connection and had these
challenges:
Have you experienced a lack
balance in the areas of your
life?

3. Me too – here’s my story of
struggle…
Well, me too,

I have been out of
balance in the areas of my life.
Since having two for the price of one - twins, for
the last three years, I have had 3 children under
the age of 5.  I felt I was losing some parts of me
that made me feel balanced and overall successful
in life.   Due to competing family pressures and
guilt, I felt a need to suppress my career
development and significantly reduced/stopped
community service.

4. Here’s my story of finding the
solution…
So what did I do about these lack of connections - I embarked
on a
journey of professional development and personal
growth
to find ways to improve connections and help people
achieve their individual and company goals.
My journey was also shaped by my personal story including the
loss of my mom at a young age, my diverse leadership
experiences and becoming a mother.
It has become my mission to connect the dots, create
connections, and develop connectors. My vision is Connectors
will Change the World.
It was time that I reevaluated my priorities and that is when I started looking
at and assessing my life in four areas - self, career, family/friends, and
community.   Some people may break this down differently, but this is what
has worked best for me as everything I prioritize can go into one of these
areas.

6. Here’s the old world vs. the new
world (myths/trends)
The
most common myth in the area of balanced life is that you
cannot have balance.
Or that you have to be superwoman superman to get it all done.

7. Here’s the solution (step-by-step
system in a framework)

The solution I created
 is the
CONNECTOR LIFE™
 framework -
balanced
excellence in all areas of life - self, family/friends,
career, and community
A connector is an expert at connecting and
uniting people, knowledge, and resources and
their success stems from bringing a level of
energy and clarity for themselves and others.

You CAN have it all. My philosophy is to have as
much work-life integration/connection as possible
which is why I show the areas of life as a Venn
diagram.

Do you want a Connector Life? Rate yourself and make
a plan below.
RATING & ACTION PLAN

– Use this space to capture
your LIFE rating and action plan. Rate yourself from 1-
10 for where for your current rating and 90 day goal
rating in each area of your life. List the one most
important action you can take to get you to your goal.

5. Here’s my and my students
results…
I have experienced many successes on my connector
journey and I will share just a few with you now that relate
to
The Connector Life
.
For my self and family, I
made a bold move to leave the company I was
working for to move to a new opportunity that did not require as much travel.
I reengaged in volunteer work for a community organization as well as my
professional pharmacy organization. I did not
bite off more than I can chew
and definitely used the power of NO so that I could remain focuses
For my career, I have balanced the time on my new business of coaching and
training by stopping watching TV.
While I would not give myself a 10 in all these areas, I have made significant
progress. I reassess and rebalance on at least a quarterly basis and sometime
more frequently.

8. Here’s the most common
mistakes (do’s and don’ts)
The most common mistakes I see people
make when implementing the connector life is
they do not consider all aspects of their life
and can become imbalanced.
The other mistake is not allowing for
fluctuations – it is ok for the size or focu
s of
the circle to change over time when one are o
your life needs more priority – such as an ill
family member or a career transition.
