  2. About eSangam An Integrated Mission Mode Project under NeGP with a vision to provide all the government services accessible to citizen through a single service delivery outlet. A Nation wide constellation of Gateways consisting of National (NSDG) and State eGovernance Services Delivery Gateways (SSDGs). NSDG/SSDG acting as a standards-based messaging switch and providing seamless interoperability and exchange of data across the departments. Providing a National Directory of services (NSD) having all the central and State level services registered. CDAC Mumbai 2

  4. Objective To develop the integrated services delivery framework and supporting tools to : Cooperate, Collaborate and Integrate information across different departments. Facilitate efficient service delivery to the government departments (G2G), businesses (G2B) and citizens of India (G2C). Reduce interdepartmental m X n service integration to single point registration Provide Interoperability and integration among heterogeneous applications Enable Legacy systems join the SOA with minimal effort.   6. Features De-couples front end from business logic of applications. Based on Open Platform, Open Standards and No vendor locking Provides Support for Multiple protocols (IIP/IIS, SOAP, REST, HTTP, etc.) for service integration. Support for synchronous as well as asynchronous mode of message exchange Messages are forwarded to recipients after proper authentication and authorization. XML signature support and communication over Two way SSL enables secure message exchange between department applications. CDAC Mumbai 6

Features Business Continuity with zero data loss achieved through own Disaster Recovery Solution, Revival DR Solution Uniquely designed architecture of Central & State gateways and NSD providing service discovery and service lookup enables inter-gateway communication for message exchange. Support for Centralized connector hosting IDE to design connectors and define workflows among the registered services In-built Workflow management feature ISO/IEC 27001:2005 (ISMS) compliant CDAC Mumbai 7

Current Status Central Level Statistics Gone Live in August, 2008 475 Services Registered in Production 3.8 Cr +Transactions Integration of 75+ services in Progress State Level Statistics Deployed in 25 States 1771 +Services Being Delivered 5.2 Cr + Transactions. Awards Revival 2000: NASSCOM Innovation Award 2012-Runner Up, in the category of New Technology Advancement , NSDG : Winner of Manthan Award 2012 under e-Infrastructure Category NSDG : Winner of Skoch World is Open Award in 2008.
