Juvenile Community Correctional Facility (CCF) The Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) defines a Community Correctional Facility (CCF) as a county or multi county rehabilitation center for felony delinquents who have been committed to the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS) and diverted from care and custody in an institution and placed in the rehabilitation center pursuant to division (E) of section 5139.36 of the Revised Code.
Funding All the CCF s are funded by the Ohio Department of Youth Services. The Ohio Administrative Code dictates how each facility maintains and operates.
What works in the CCFs The CCF s are governed by Judges of each CCF s home counties Physical Size / design = (16 to 50 beds) staffing ratios (PREA 1-8 to 1-10)
What works in the CCFs cont We are not Cookie Cutter facilities each facility customizes programs that include day to day schedules, activities, and Individual/Family Counseling. = We are all driven by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

The Successes of the CCFs Accreditation = o In 2008, All CCF s received their initial accreditation by the American Correctional Association. o In 2012, All CCF s received their initial accreditation by the Prison Rape Elimination Act o All CCF s follow the Ohio State OAC Standards
The Successes of the CCFs All 11 CCF s use the Ohio Youth Assessment System (OYAS) to assess risk for recidivism and criminogenic need areas for youths who are receiving services.
