ILO-Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 Enters into force 12-months after ratification by 30 Members representing 33% of world s tonnage At 20 October 17 signatories and >33% tonnage, 5 new signatories since last report Ongoing discussions and negotiations regarding definition of seafarer particularly with regard to workers hired subject to coastal State social and employment legislation
