Convention Status Updates The ILO s Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC 2006) has received 24 of the needed 30 ratifications to enter into force The IMO s Ballast Water Management Convention, 2004 (BWM) has been ratified by nations representing 26.5% of the world s tonnage it needs 35% to enter into force
