  2. How do CREDITS work? MIDDLE SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL Take a class Take a class Earn a grade Earn a grade DO NOT earn credit if you pass EARN credit if you pass (0.5 or 1.0 credit) DO NOT earn credit if you fail DO NOT earn credit if you fail (0 credit)

  3. Why do you need to earn CREDITS? By the end of 9th grade, you should earn 6.0 credits! Graduation Requirements Graduation Requirements 1st semester, you will earn 3.0 credits, if you pass ALL 6 of your classes. Students must earn 24.0 credits to earn their high school diploma. 2ndsemester, you will earn another 3.0 credits, if you pass ALL 6 of your classes.

  11. What can I do if I m struggling? Communicate with your teachers. Schedule time with them during SIT or before/after school. Log-in to Schoology everyday! (check assignments, grades, etc.) Use your Student Planner to stay organized and remember due dates. Show up to class everyday! Attendance matters. Access school resources: ASC, library, tutoring, ELL Homework, etc. Make an appointment with your counselor. Don t be shy. Ask for help!

  15. Get involved today! Students who are involved typically do better in school. Review the list of clubs. You can start your own club too! Ask your counselor to help you get connected if you d like to join! Sports are seasonal... fall, winter, and spring, but you must sign up!
