$500-$5,000 to bring an author to your learning community

Allowable Costs
Author fees
One flat rate
Should include all travel costs
Up to $500 towards library
materials
Costs for additional staff hours
Publicity and promotional items
Costs to transport youth from
school, day camp or licensed
child care agency using valid
student transportation service.
Indirect cost rate
Show Me Steps Grant
For continuing education, 2 types:
Individual Training (go to a conference or event): $500-$2,500
Group Training (bring in a trainer): $500-$8,000
Application due 2-9 months out
