  3. Author Visit Grant $500-$5,000 to bring an author to your learning community Applications due 3-9 months out Reimbursement grant Application available at: https://www.sos.mo.gov/library/development/lstagrants

  4. Allowable Costs Author fees One flat rate Should include all travel costs Up to $500 towards library materials Costs for additional staff hours Publicity and promotional items Costs to transport youth from school, day camp or licensed child care agency using valid student transportation service. Indirect cost rate

  5. Show Me Steps Grant For continuing education, 2 types: Individual Training (go to a conference or event): $500-$2,500 Group Training (bring in a trainer): $500-$8,000 Application due 2-9 months out Application available at: https://www.sos.mo.gov/library/development/lstagrants

  6. Show Me Express Missouri State Library newsletter Distributed every 2 weeks, on Tuesday, by email Register at: https://s1.sos.mo.gov/library/showme_express/default Learn about State Library projects, programs, and resources Stay up-to-date on upcoming training events Read about available grant opportunities

  7. MOYAC Missouri Youth and Children discussion list Register at: https://lists.more.net/mailman/listinfo/moyac Connect with other youth librarians Learn about workshops, grants, and resources provided by MOSL Ask questions about youth services and receive advice from members
