What is GaTAPP What is GaTAPP GaTAPP is an alternative certification program offered for individuals who desire to become educators who already have an existing degree in a field other than education and are employed by a regionally accredited school district as a classroom teacher
TAPP Does Not Serve the Following TAPP Does Not Serve the Following Individuals employed as para-professionals Substitute teachers Individuals seeking a service certificate (Ex: Counseling) Individuals seeking a college degree

Complete the Pioneer RESA GaTAPP application packet which can be found at GaTAPP | Pioneer RESA. Parts of the application require signatures from district employees and other administrators 3. Schedule a face-to-face appointment for the review of your application by contacting Pioneer RESA s Professional Learning Office at 706-865-2141

TAPP is your pathway to certification Without certification, you can t teach It is the expectation that all participants will be present at all TAPP events TAPP requirements must take priority over other duties and responsibilities Should an emergency occur, it is your responsibility to notify your instructor

What is the Format of Pioneer RESAs What is the Format of Pioneer RESA s GaTAPP Program? GaTAPP Program? Post-Covid, Pioneer RESA s GaTAPP program has been exclusively online. The current plan for the 2022-2023 TAPP cohort is to provide a Hybrid program with face-to-face and online requirements. This is subject to change. Course dates and times will be provided when accepted in the program.
