The kite Festival San Dimitri By Jake Formosa Year 3 Sparkles
Kites Kites are colourful and they fly in the sky. I enjoyed watching the kites in the sky. At San Dimitri I also went in the chapel. It was beautiful. I saw my best friend and we went in the field together. We had lots of fun. Under a tent there was like a show of how to make kites. There were stalls near the church. There was also a lottery. We walked from where my dad parked the car through the countryside to San Dimitri.
San Dimitri The Chapel of St Demetrius, more commonly known as San Dimitri Chapel, is a small rural Roman Catholic church located in G arb in Gozo. This is the only church in Gozo and Malta dedicated to this Greek saint. This chapel is full of myth and legend is built on a promontory just outside the village of G arb, close to a cliff called Ras San Mitri (The Cape of St. Demetrius). Approached by a country road from G arb, the chapel stands in a delightful spot and is Gozo s westernmost chapel.
