Why Fast Track? 1. Eliminate using Visiting with new appointments 2. Engage FAPTC early in the process to determine/recommend faculty rank
Types of Appointment 1. Lateral appointment (Same rank and track) 2. Promotion and/or with tenure
Documents needed 1. Candidate CV 2. Appointment request letter (chair) include academic productivity, clinical activities, teaching, and service. 3. If promotion or appointment with tenure, include justification
Process 1. Initial review: Dr. Morano and Johnson George 2. FAPTC review and electronic vote 3. Lateral appointment 4. Appointment with promotion and/or granting of tenure
