Upcoming Flex Opportunities Black Heritage Month (multiple Zoom, on-campus, & hybrid events each week in February) CSLO to PSLO Mapping Updates Workshops (2/14 & 2/17, Zoom) In-Service Series (FA & HR collaboration, March & April, Zoom) K-12 Ethnic Studies Summit (March, on-campus) Spring Flex Day (March, Zoom) Supporting Basic Needs with Trauma-Informed Care (March, Zoom) PSLO Analysis and Actions Workshop (April & May, Zoom) QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Training (first session was in January, upcoming dates in spring) Working with various departments to organize more opportunities throughout spring semester 10. 3. What else is going on in FPD? College Culture Friday First meeting of Spring 2022 was this morning Vision Resource Center Meetings w/ all stakeholders, working closely w/ OLET to build backend Pilot to launch in Summer 2022; Launch to all faculty in Fall 2022 FPD Oversight Committee First meeting on 3/7, meetings are every 1st & 3rd Monday at 12:30-1:30 pm Members will be assigned to Flex Subcommittee and Resources & Opportunities Subcommittee Conferences Processing applications for both virtual and in-person conferences Faculty Diversity Internship Program FDIP Mentorship Kick-off was in December Interns & Mentors to meet regularly in Spring 2022

4. Spring 2022 Department Head Academy This training was curated based on the feedback of department heads to strengthen your leadership. The Department Head Academy schedule is as follows: Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 12:00 1:00 PM Curriculum Process & Protocol Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:00 1:00 PM Mixed Modality Scheduling & Enrollment Management Friday, April 22, 2022 at 9:00 10:00 AM DEI-centered De-escalation & Conflict Resolution Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 12:00 1:00 PM Probationary Evaluation Protocols & Best Practices Please note that this is a required training for all department heads. Those who are not able to attend the live training sessions will need to view the meeting recordings on Canvas and submit a Flex Verification Form within two weeks of each session, in order to fulfill the training requirement.
