Spelling – Week 5
Intro to Spelling Frame
We are going to start using Spelling Frame to learn and practise
our spellings and then complete the test the following week
on
SMHW.
Everyone will learn the same spelling rules in class, but will be
given different spelling to practise for home learning.
These slides will show you how to use Spelling Frame.
The link to Spelling Frame will still be posted on SMHW, you will
need to follow the link then follow the steps….
First you will need to log in:
You will have received your log in details
from your teacher. You then need to enter
them here:
Your home page will look like this. Your spellings for
the week will be under “Active Tests”. These will be
the spellings you are practicing that week. Click on
“Go to Test” to practise.
You will then see a page with lots of different
options to practise your words and learn them
BEFORE you do the test. Your teacher can show
you some examples
When you have practised and learned all of
your words you can then practise the test
and then complete the test.
You will earn points by practising and we
will keep an eye on the leaderboard to see
who is winning!
