As a reminder Goals: Increase the secondary school graduation rate Offer alternatives to traditional secondary school delivery for credit accumulation Provide the opportunity to transition to post-secondary Offer a taste of college to those who may not have considered the option Our target audience is: Disengaged, underachieving but college capable Looking to complete a final credit to graduate this year

Delivery All students have access to a computer and internet Each class will begin with a live, synchronous meeting to allow students to meet faculty and dual credit support teachers Instructors can ask students if they d like to continue the synchronous meeting to allow a routine to develop Most work should be asynchronous DC support teachers have shared an onboarding presentation so that students have the basics of logging in to Blackboard and WebEx DC support teachers have been provided with student numbers to share to facilitate log in Classes will run for nine weeks

  6. Making the most of our remote delivery What do we know so far about students currently taking dual credits online? What has worked well for our audience online? What strategies can we use to keep dual credit student engaged ?

College Faculty subject matter experts Deliver course as per college policy Liaise with Dual Credit Teachers Enter final marks in Banner Secondary Dual Credit Teachers Support dual credit students through a wide variety of means Text with students, solve logistics issues Attend any online classes or meeting hours Complete reporting forms Student Data FOI Dual credit exit survey Secondary report cards

  9. Withdrawals Must be made by June 5 Require the completion of an online fillable PDF form www.centrallakes.ca Handled by the DC teachers

  10. Marks deadlines All classes are complete by Friday June 19 Marks must be in Banner ideally by Monday June 22 Goal to have marks transferred to high schools by midweek in time for graduation

  11. Data reporting Freedom of Information forms Provided by week 3 (May 4-8) Returned by week 5 (May 18-22) Process is still being confirmed Exit Surveys Provided for faculty to add to Blackboard Will be a Google Form Student Data Reports Available this week, with step by step directions Completed by Friday June 1
