To engage local communities with A Kid Again to further embrace their mission of providing hope, happiness and healing for children with life-threatening illnesses and establish a self-sufficient social enterprise. Objective

Recruitment According to the Corporation for National and Community Service, 53% of volunteers are under 25. Thus, we plan to increase total volunteers from 1,100 to 2,000 by the end of 2018 through: 1) Targeting middle and high school students through partnerships with teachers a) Service-learning curriculum b) Clubs c) In-house service projects 2) Grow strong base of college students by establishing more chapters in A Kid Again regions
3) elderly volunteers (ages 61-70) Increase amount of a) b) Organizations such as American Legion, Elk s club, golf clubs, etc. c) Employment opportunities Social media While 89% of donors 50 and under have volunteered in the last 12 months, this group volunteers fewer hours overall (25% spend 100 or more hours, compared to 54% of those near retirement, ages 61- 70). -- Fidelity Charitable
