(hour) etc. 3.Read the clock mentioning quarter to, quarter past, half past, . (minute/minutes) to/ past .. (hour) etc. 4.Write the time (hours and minutes) mentioning a.m / p.m, quarter to, quarter past, half past . (minute/minutes) to/ past .. (hour) etc.

  6. Minutehand Hour hand What time is it ? It s a quarter to six.

  7. Minutehand What time is it ? It s a quarter to four.

  8. What time is it ? It s a quarter past two.

  9. What time is it ? It s a quarter past twelve.

  10. What time is it ? It s eight to two.

  11. What time is it ? It s ten past ten.

  12. Co-ordination with the text Open at page 62. Look at the clock in the text and read section C.

  13. What time is it ? It s half past nine.

  14. What time is it ? It s half past ten.

  15. Pair work Open at page 64 See the section C1 Practice We see some clocks picture.

  16. Pair work Now work in pairs. Say the time of each clock face starting from the left. Now write time for each clock on your khata/note book.

  18. Say- what time is it ? Now write time for each clock considering from left.

  19. Game Mr. Wolf Play the game in groups. One student will become Mr. Wolf. Another student will show a clock face and ask the time. If the first student can answer correctly, the other student will become Mr. wolf

  20. Home work You will draw- 1) one quarter to, 2) one quarter past, 3) one half past clock time. Then write the time under each.
