  1. SNOW DAY/E-LEARNING FOR LINCOLN K8 Peoria public schools E-Learning Day Plans

  2. FAMILIES SHOULD . . . . . Go to the teachers webpage(s) to view the assignments for the day. Under the resources heading, each teacher has uploaded the daily assignments for his or her students. At any time during the school day, you can reach out to your teacher if assistance is needed. Students can return any completed work the next in person school day or a picture can be taken and sent to the teacher.

AT LINCOLN K-8: Students will be learning from instruction throughout the day with teacher availability as needed Teachers have prep time at start of day; longer lunch break allowed Grades PreK-4: Have one hour late start and work rest of the day with a present teacher, dismissal is regular end time Grades 5-12: Have a one hour late start the work rest of day, dismissal is regular end time (will attend all classes with an abbreviated length of time) Teachers will determine how to structure the day

  5. REQUIRED BY ISBE PARAMETERS MINIMUM OF A 5 HOUR INSTRUCTIONAL DAY ALLOWS UP TO FIVE DAYS THAT CAN BE USED AS E- LEARNING MUST MAKE ALLOWANCES FOR STUDENTS WHO CANNOT WORK ONLINE

  6. TEACHER EXPECTATIONS Teachers are expected to monitor student learning according to the schedule provided. It is up to the teacher of the classroom how they want to connect with students. It can be direct instruction, assignments posted on website, small groups, 1:1 support, etc. CAPPS will be updated with ideas to guide individual training for staff that are not working with students. Teachers will complete documentation for the account of their time in 30-minute intervals within 24 hours of the E- Learning day. Documentation will include student connections, meetings with other teachers, trainings, etc. See attached template for staff to complete. Student attendance recording will be completed by research department

  7. Make sure all staff have an x360 checked out if they do not have a device at home to use. Teachers may work from home if they have internet to work but can come to the building if internet is not available or unreliable (except in the case of inclement weather from snow or ice making it dangerous to be on the road). PRINCIPAL/AP EXPECTATIONS Principals will report to their building to respond to students or staff who may need assistance. After building is checked, you may spend the remaining day from home or school setting for five hours. Principals should be checking in on Teams throughout to walkthrough classes

TAs Help with streams, checking in the students, making phone calls home, assist with technology concerns Elite: Make home visits, help with streams, checking in on the students, making phone calls. Children s Home/Family Core: Reaching out to students/Parents on caseload; Phone Calls, check-in, Permission slips, reports I on I: Not working during this time. AUXILLARY STAFF Substitute teachers: Building/perm subs NOT in a long term assigned position/classroom will not be paid for these days. Parent Advocates: Not working during this time. Cafeteria Staff: Breakfast and lunch distribution As determined by Food Service
