  1. 4-H Summer Camp/ Summer Enrichment Program DRONE

  2. Background Designed to familiarize participants with drone technology. A Includes lessons on coding through multiple mediums and a general understanding of coding in the world today. B The curriculum also addresses several Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Topics. C

Camp Class 3 Day Class for 1-1.5 Hours a Day 1 Class Size: 10-12 Day 1 Introduction to Drones Past and Present, FAA and regulations Class Highlight: last day they will get to Pilot a Drone 2 Day 3 3 Day 2 Review Safety and Drone Flight Coding Human Coding Activity and then Coding on iPad with Scratch

  4. Enrichment Camp 3+ Day Class for 2-3 Hours a day 1 Class Size: 10-12 Day 1 Introduction to Drone Past and Present, FAA and regulations Class Highlight: last day they will get to Pilot a Drone 2 Day 3+ 3 Can go more in- depth and talk about applications Review Safety and Drone Flight Day 2 Coding Human Coding Activity and then Coding on iPad with Scratch
