Children & Young People's Services Committee Achievement Event Overview
"The Children & Young People's Services Committee celebrated achievements focusing on economic well-being, with a sub-committee led by Liam Ward. The event aimed to ensure children are protected from poverty, live in youth-friendly communities, have educational opportunities, and pathways to economic participation. The committee reviewed challenges in education and identified priority areas like access to accommodation, apprenticeships, career guidance, and support for socially excluded groups. Member organizations worked towards developing a comprehensive plan to address these issues."
