Treasurer Report Linda Sturges and Christoph Winkler Membership Current (April 2015): 162 members 2014: 144 members Finances: Current (February 2015 statement): 2,859.79 Upcoming Expenses: Business meeting/Awards/Mentoring: $750 (approximately) + $850 + $500 = approximately Recruitment strategies: Linda and Christoph searched the 2014 AERA program to find potential recruits for the SSRL SIG; Dan and Maria sent out personal invitations to about 90 individuals; Linda and Christoph contacted over 75 lapsed members in December. $2,100

  14. 2015 Graduate Student Research Award Purpose: To encourage, support and acknowledge rigorous research on studying and self-regulated learning conducted by graduate students. Please welcome Hefer Bembenutty .. Review committee: Hefer Bembenutty, Chair, Queens College, CUNY Kara Makara, University of Glasgow, Ireland Christian Brandmo, Oslo University, Norway Fani Lauermann, University of Bonn, Germany Parastou Mokri, Virginia Tech, USA The committee received 13 proposals. The committee members reviewed 10 of the proposals accepted for presentation by using the criteria of the AERA.
