NOVEMBER ROUNDTABLE Recharter System 2022

COUNCIL HIGHLIGHTS 800 new kids joined the Scouting program since August. More than 2,400 people attended Summer Camp at Seven Ranges. The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store has different products than in- person, it has been expanded this year! Not only does the online store have has chocolate candies and coffee! 1,100+ Cub Scouts & their families attended a Family Adventure Camp this fall. Thousands of Scouts are funding their adventure through the popcorn sale.

RECHARTER 2022 Highlights of New System Electronic Authorization Only Electronic authorization will be the only method for units to receive approval from the chartered organization. There will be no more signatures to The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store has different products than in- person, it has been expanded this year! Not only does the online store have popcorn, it also has chocolate candies and coffee! obtain on physical rechartering paperwork. Online Payment Units can elect to pay online by credit card, an e-check online, or paying the Buckeye Council. Regardless of payment method, no physical paperwork needs to be submitted to the council.

RECHARTER 2022 Highlights of New System Additional Paperwork Upload Process If you have new applications, YPT certificates, or Background Check Authorization forms to attach to your recharter, you will The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store also has chocolate candies and coffee! electronically upload them to the online renewal system and NOT turn in any physical copies. Real-Time Roster Updates Rosters in the new renewal system will update in real time. Meaning if an application is turned into the Buckeye Council during your recharter window, it will automatically appear on your roster in the new system.

RECHARTER 2022 Highlights of New System Youth Protection Validation YPT must be up to date within the online recharter system for all adults in order for them to be selected and renewed. This will update in real-time when The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store has different products than in- person, it has been expanded this year! Not only does the online store have adults complete YPT.

RECHARTER 2022 Fee Increase went into effect 8/1/21 $99 for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing participants ($72 National Fee + $27 TRC Program and Insurance) The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store has different products than in- person, it has been expanded this year! Not only does the online store have popcorn, it also has chocolate candies and coffee! $46 for all adult volunteers ($45 National Fee + $27 TRC Program and Insurance) $75 for a unit charter fee

RECHARTER 2022 No Physical Packet Distribution or Turn In The entire process can be completed online, eliminating the need to turn in any paperwork. Since there is no need to turn in The Pecatonica Online Store has been expanded! While the online store has different products than in- person, it has been expanded this year! Not only does the online store have popcorn, it also has chocolate candies and coffee! any materials, there will not be a physical packet distribution. There will be NO PHYSICAL PACKET TURN IN. If you pay online and your recharter is completely error-free, your charter will automatically post.

STEP 1: Remove Members 2: Then click Manage Members then Remove from Charter 1: Select members to remove

STEP 2: Add Members 2: Add details 1: Click Manage Members then Add New Member 3: Upload Paper Application

STEP 3: Edit Members 2: Click Upload Document Add YPT or CBC Background Check Authorization Forms by uploading them 1: Select Member

STEP 4: Payment 1: Select Payment Method & Complete all fields 2: Click Pay & Post Renewal
