  1. Deeper Christian Life Ministry The Netherlands SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES LESSON 690: BOAZ MARRIES RUTH earnestly contend for the FAITH which was once delivered unto the SAINTS (Jude 3)

  2. Deeper Christian Life Ministry The Netherlands RECAP OF OUR LAST STUDY From our last study, entitled Marriage and family life of Christians , we learnt the following lessons: Marriage is a sacred institution and the Word of God must be our guide. God still leads and speaks to His children in diverse, scriptural ways! We must avoid ungodly association with unbelievers, idols in the heart and carnality in choosing a life partner. God s will for the believer is a happy, healthy and holy home. earnestly contend for the FAITH which was once delivered unto the SAINTS (Jude 3)

  3. Deeper Christian Life Ministry The Netherlands TODAY S STUDY: LESSON 690: BOAZ MARRIES RUTH MEMORY VERSE: So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son (Ruth 4:13). TEXT: Ruth 4: 1-22. The study of today touches on three points: Boaz, a kinsman redeemer. Boaz marriage with Ruth. The birth of Obed and genealogy of David. earnestly contend for the FAITH which was once delivered unto the SAINTS (Jude 3)

  4. Deeper Christian Life Ministry The Netherlands SUMMARY Boaz, a kinsman-redeemer (Ruth 4: 1-12; Lev. 25:25; Matt. 22:24) The nearest kinsman couldn t redeem Ruth because he felt it would spoil his inheritance. This is like a sinner who refuses salvation because of earthly inheritance. Boaz became the kinsman-redeemer, a type of Christ who redeems the sinner. Boaz marriage with Ruth (Ruth 4:9-13; Deut. 7:8-11; 23:3): Boaz followed biblical procedure and did not attempt to do anything in secret. We should seek God and Hisrighteousness and wait patiently for His appointed time. Those who decide to follow Christ will be saved no matter their background or pedigree. The birth of Obed and genealogy of David (Ruth 4:13-22; Rom. 12:15): God made Ruth to stand out and prepared the way for the future Messiah through her. The women rejoiced with Ruth at Obed s birth. We should rejoice with those who rejoice. Like Boaz did, we must follow our intention by purposeful action. earnestly contend for the FAITH which was once delivered unto the SAINTS (Jude 3)
