  3. Aims of the session To understand the role of the course leader To signpost to key sources of information to support you. To identify individuals and teams in place to support you. To provide an opportunity to network with other course leaders.

  4. What is the purpose of a Course Leaders? In small groups, consider: What is the purpose of the course leadership role? Why it is an academic role? Be prepared to share your group's views with those of other groups in a short plenary session.

  5. Why are Course Leaders so important?
